Designed Sisterhood

Cherie’s Story

Put your boots on, raise your flag! Stand up… stand out, and be committed to what you believe, and then step out and do what God has called you to do… and let a heaven breathed sisterhood revolution begin!

Dear Debbie,

I remember the first time I desired more for my life than what I was living. As a young teenager, I had watched girls chase after boys, excitement, money, and outward beauty.

The things that they thought would lead them to fulfillment and happiness. I thought that I needed to do the same if I wanted to experience happiness too.

More than anything, I wanted to wake up in the morning knowing that I was alive for a reason.

After a few hard years of trying to reach impossible standards of beauty, win everyone’s approval, and impress the world… I found myself wondering if this was all there was to life?

I was worn out, and my heart felt cold. No one had ever explained to me the true reason for life, the meaning of the cross, the beauty of the Jesus sacrifice for me.

No one had told me that His love is what gives life meaning and that He could change everything.

More than anything, I wanted to wake up in the morning knowing that I was alive for a reason.

Ever since Jesus saved me, I have wanted to draw others into this amazing life alongside me.

And then one day God came near and revealed Himself to me with tenderness and grace. My life has never been the same.

Ever since Jesus saved me, I have wanted to draw others into this amazing life alongside me.

I want to live to be a revolution for Christ, by being brave and having the courage to run the race that has been set before me.

Every woman and girl in this sisterhood that God is raising up, is invited to be a part of His plan to bring His salvation to the world!

When he asks, “whom shall I send?” She who is called to be a part of this revolution says, “Oh God, send me!” And, together, with Christ’s power in us, we have the strength and courage to be the Sisterhood Revolution that changes the world!

Love, Cherie (name changed)
